A Real Bilingual School
Bilingual education helps students become global and integral citizens, expanding their access to world cultures. HPLUS School pedagogical proposal is based on the CLIL approach, which considers language as a tool whose main function is communication and which must be acquired through meaningful contexts or content. With a 2-hour daily “immersion” period, language is treated as a means of accessing topics that spark students' interest and are fundamental to their development, which can be certified in the 5th year with the TOEFL® proficiency test.

School offer?
Bilingual Education
With 1 hour of immersion per day in part-time classes and 2 hours per day in full-time and intermediate classes, from the initial years onwards, students begin to communicate in English with each other and with their teachers, describing their own routines and expressing their preferences and desires independently, contributing to the development of the student as a global and integral citizen. In the final years, the student acquires greater fluency, understands more complex texts on subjects already known and communicates more spontaneously and confidently. At this stage, the student is able to talk about subjects related to the environment and their reality, with a broader vocabulary. Thus, at the end of each cycle (5th and 9th years), the student will be able to reach levels A2 and B2, respectively, on the CEFR (Common European Framework) proficiency chart, through the Cambridge proficiency test.
Robotics and Programming
Robotics and Programming encourages students to build their own knowledge through the creation and execution of projects, developing skills and competencies such as proactivity, leadership and technological fluency, which facilitate teamwork and problem-solving.
Social Media and Digital Citizenship
Through Social Media and Digital Citizenship, students can understand and create digital content in a critical and reflective way in the school context. Some concepts such as digital well-being, fake news, data protection and empathy are worked on in this theme.
Gamification
Gamification is one of the pedagogical strategies used in the classroom, which promotes proactivity, autonomy, cooperation, empathy, communication, creativity, cultural repertoire and responsibility, building learning collectively.
Financial Management
In financial management, we address conscious consumption and financial planning in different curricular components, so that students can better manage money and better plan their life projects. It helps to educate adults with a notion of risk management, prepared to face the possible adversities that money can bring. The topic helps future adults consume, save and invest responsibly.
Personal Organization and Time Management
Personal organization is essential for time management and productivity, helping students to have less anxiety, be more productive and to work on their self-knowledge. That is why we work on building time management as an attitude of shared responsibility among students, in different ways such as schedules, simple tasks and school routines.
Ethics and Social Responsibility
The concepts of ethics and social responsibility are essential to the formation of transformative citizens, as, through ethics, it is possible to develop moral behaviors for life in society and, consequently, actions based on their principles and possible impacts on the collective.
